Last night I spent over an hour writing a blog post about my day. I added photos and spent a long time trying to figure out how to upload video on here, as I have done it before but can't find how to do it now! HAHA! However, after clicking publish... it all magically disappeared! I decided to simply go to sleep and try again today.
Yesterday, around 11am, my family and I finally found the gallery. It had been hard to find as Orange (the street it's on) is a one way street and the main door of the gallery faces the opposite way. We kept driving right past it until I finally looked back and saw it. We went around the block and parked on Pine (the street where "Star Gallery" is on). It is the same building but with doors on separate streets.
I walked in and asked for Leena but she wasn't there. They usually are not open on Mondays but the week of the third Thursday they are so that artists from previous exhibits can pick up their work and new pieces can be brought in. I met Tre, though! He is such an awesome guy!!! We talked for a while. I asked him several questions and he asked about the [fa] group. I gave him the link to our page on Facebook. He loved our work and our "Dreamers, Misfits, and Rebels" page even more!!! He really like seeing the artist profiles with biographies, statements, and images! He thought it was "hot!

One of the important things I asked Tre about was parking space! He sent me alink to the parking garage next to the gallery.
If you are coming, you can park there and bring your ticket down to the gallery. They will stamp it and when you go to pay, you will only have to pay $4 dollars. You get a whole's day parking for that!
Anyway, I left... but I left nervous... and excited. My nervousness came because I had no idea how all our images would fit in such a tiny gallery (the one pictured above with the blue walls). I was excited though, because it all became REAL. I had actually been to the gallery!!!
